Join the Mission Community

For over 100 years Church Army was a Society of Evangelists who were trained and sent out to
work across the Anglican Church in the UK and Ireland.

In 2012 we became a Mission Community, recognised by the Church of England, but open to
Christians of all denominations who have a heart for evangelism. This has broadened our
membership and allowed clergy and lay people to join in as members and be part of the growing
movement of Church Army.

Many members are evangelists in their own right, exercising the gift of evangelism and being
part of the mission of God in our lands. Other members work alongside evangelists or support
them in prayer and practical ways, but all have a desire to see people in our lands come to know
the love of God.

Members of the Mission Community agree to live by a Rule of Life; to support the work of Church
Army; and to engage with other members through prayer, worship, gatherings, and financial
giving.
