Do I have to be a Christian to work for Church Army?

Church Army is made up of people from a faith background, and no-faith background.

Sometimes, the requirement for the post holder to be a Christian is dependent on the nature of the role and the main tasks of the job.

Any job that requires the candidate to have an active faith in Jesus, will state this in the job description terms * conditions under ‘Occupational Requirement’.

We warmly welcome applications from candidates from all backgrounds and traditions.

Where does Church Army offer jobs?

Church Army works across the UK & Ireland, and we recruit for posts across both countries. When we advertise jobs, they will specify the location of the role.

We do not accept speculative applications and ask candidates to apply for current available posts only.

How do I apply for a job?

Please download and complete the application form that is supplied for the post – these are different depending upon the role. When you are ready to submit your application, please use the ‘select file’ function under Job Application and then submit by selecting ‘Apply Now’.

Can I also apply via email or post?
