1882 Challenge

Whether you’re 18 or 82 there’s a place for you on our team this September! Whether on your own or with friends, set yourself a challenge around the numbers 18 or 82 and help us transform lives in communities across the UK and Ireland.

Since 1882 Church Army has been sharing the good news of Jesus with a world which desperately needs to know the hope and the love of our Saviour. We hope you are inspired by the stories of transformation you read on our website and in Catalyst. There are SO many more stories we could tell and there are others waiting to be written in areas we’re not yet working in. We would love YOU to help us grow our frontline work by taking on the 1882 Challenge between 18-26 September.

Here’s how it works: Dream up any challenge around the numbers 18 and 82 which you think your friends and colleagues will sponsor you to do. It could be:

• 18 laps of your garden
• 82 lengths of your local swimming pool
• 1,882 rows of knitting in a scarf
• Or something totally different – it’s your challenge

Why not join our Facebook event to get updates about the 1882 Challenge?

Tell all your friends and family what you’re doing and remember to give them the link to sponsor you. Publicise your fundraiser far and wide on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter using the #1882Challenge. Remember to tell us as well so we can pray for you and share what you’re doing with other supporters.
