This winter let’s change women’s homelessness

Stand with us to provide hope and sanctuary for women in crisis

Meet Valentina*

We met Valentina during a very challenging time in her life. Her daughter had been taken from her at birth because she had an abusive partner, and as she fought to regain custody, she found herself homeless.

“Things were incredibly tough for me, I felt like the world was against me.

When I was fighting for custody, I was powerless and drained. But my case worker pulled me out of that darkness. She encouraged me to get into activities at the Marylebone Project, and the more I got involved, the more I started to feel like it was going to be OK.

While I was here, I applied to go to university. I graduated this year and have officially become a registered nurse!

I’m grateful for the help I received at the Marylebone Project. It’s a place that changes lives.”

Valentina has now been supported into independent living and is living with her daughter! What a change made possible through her perseverance and the support we offer at our Marylebone Project.
