Join us for a fun-filled festival adventure!
This Easter, we’re heading to Spring Harvest at Skegness (7-11 April) and Minehead (14-18 April) to share the incredible work of Church Army and engage with festival-goers through fun activities. Would you like to be part of it all?
What can I expect?
Get ready for an exciting, action-packed week! You’ll participate in activities like t-shirt graffiti, photo opportunities, light photography, and lots of conversations about the important work we do. This year’s theme continues from last year’s ‘angels,’ but this year we are encouraging people to “be an angel” by supporting Church Army’s mission of igniting faith in Jesus and restoring hope where it’s needed most. Not a fan of some of those activities? No worries! We’ll make sure to match you with tasks that suit your skills and interests, so you can have a great time. Expect to be on a rota for about 6 hours a day (roughly 10am to 10pm), and in your free time, you can attend seminars, worship sessions, hit the beach or fairground, or just relax and recharge!
What’s it like to be a volunteer?
Don’t just take our word for it—hear from some of our amazing past volunteers:
What will be provided?
- Full training before the event
- Accommodation with other volunteers at a nearby Airbnb (Minehead) / private room with en-suite on site (Skegness)
- Reasonable travel costs covered (please travel together where possible)
- Daily food and subsistence allowance, plus breakfast basics at your accommodation (Minehead)/ Food Court food package (Skegness)
- TOIL (if applicable) according to the festival’s policy, to be agreed upon with your line manager
