Chris Upton Appointed National Lead of Waterways Chaplaincy

“I am delighted to announce that Chris Upton (pictured below) has been appointed as the National Lead Chaplain for Waterways. Chris is a Baptist Pastor and is working for Christians Against Poverty. Chris brings lots of experience and energy to this significant role. Chris will start work on 17th July and Mark will hand over leadership of Waterways to Chris on 25th July.  We are excited about Chris supporting and developing the wonderful work that our Waterways licensed chaplains do.

We are indebted for the work that Mark Chester has done in developing Waterways and as he retires from his position we are thankful for all that he has given. Mark hands over Waterways in a strong position.”
