Janet Sutton – Mission Development Officer (Midlands)
Church Army are delighted to announce the appointment of the Rev’d Janet Sutton as the new Midlands Mission Development Officer for Church Army. Janet will work within the Mission Operations team on a 0.5 basis and will begin her new role on 1 June. Janet is a United Reformed Church (URC) minister with a background in parish, prison and pioneering ministry.
Janet was the URC’s first stipendiary pioneer minister and more recently spent three years working at diocesan level within the Church of England as an Evangelism Coach. Janet brings lots of experience of developing fresh expressions and coaching in mission and is a qualified pastoral supervisor. We are excited about the wisdom and experience that Janet will bring to supporting and growing our work in the Midlands area.
