We are so grateful for major donations given by individual supporters. The investments made by Major Donors enable us to plan projects over the long term and bring about positive change in the lives of individuals.
What kind of work do you have a passion for?
What area of work do you want to be involved in?
Where do you want to see positive change happen?
Church Army works with a diverse range of groups within the British Isles and Ireland to help them address some of the issues they are facing and to draw out their strengths, abilities and potential to effect positive change. Your support of our work will enable us to share such help, encouragement and hope with more people in need.
We work with a diverse range of groups: young people with experience of self-harm; lonely and isolated older people; vulnerable women involved as sex workers; disadvantaged young people; ex-offenders; adult’s health and well-being; children and families; schools work; homeless young people and adults; community work and outreach on housing estates; night time street work.
At present, the potential for expanding our impact is huge, particularly through emerging Centres of Mission, where partnerships with local Dioceses mean that for every £1 we invest in the work, it is effectively matched by their financial contribution. We would love to develop new relationships with individuals, to make the most of these opportunities and sustain the work in the long-term.
If you would like to discuss in more detail any of the projects mentioned or how your investment has the potential to change the lives of individuals in a specific group or area of the country, please get in touch with me. Visits to projects can be arranged to witness first-hand the work being carried out on the ground and we are happy to explore the potential for you to have an ongoing involvement with a specific project.
