Location     TyBronna Project, Cardiff (Church Army Residential Services)
 
Details Ty Bronna's aim is to equip young people with the skills they need to move on and be resettled into their own independent accommodation. With the input of a support worker, each young person will participate in an individual needs led assessments focusing on their identified hopes and goals for future development, and each young person will embark on a personal development plan that will include participation in training/education, managing their own and the shared living space, budgeting management, personal development and all aspects of independent living skills development.

In joining the team, you will need to share in our values. As Relief Support Worker, you will offer services to the TyBronna Project on an As and When basis. This means that there is no guarantee of work and you are under no obligation to accept work offered to you.

This role is to provide support and advice for young people between the ages of 16 and 21 years who are moving towards independent living. To ensure that the project offers a safe, secure and accessible service for young people.  You will need to be willing to work unsociable hours as and when required. 
 
Salary
 
Variable - depending on shift. All rates are at, or above,  Living Wage. 
Hours     There are no normal hours of work as this is a zero hours contract. The post holder will be asked whether they are able to provide cover in respect of a vacant shift.

Church Army has no obligation to offer the post holder any work whatsoever and the post holder has no obligation to accept work if it is offered.
 
Pension You will be assessed under auto-enrollment pension legislation and if eligible, minimum contributions will be made.
 
Annual Leave Holiday pay is calculated based on the number of hours worked and paid on a quarterly basis. 
 
Contract Zero-hours contract. Offering services on an 'As & When' basis. 
 
DBS
 
An enhanced DBS check required and compliance with Church Army’s safeguarding policies. Safeguarding training will be required.
