Location     Home-based in Yorkshire/North-East England.
The role will involve regular travel to the National Office in Sheffield. 
Details We have ambitious goals and we need ambitious people to be part of the journey. We're looking for an authentic, engaging and enthusiastic person to join us in this new role in our Fundraising Team. 

As the Donor Relations Officer, you’ll  support existing supporters and acquire new supporters for Church Army from Yorkshire and across the North-East of England and obtain commitments from them to fund our pioneering work. You'll use your skills to connect with people to fundraise from individuals, churches, major donors and corporates. We're looking for someone who thrives on meeting challenging targets, and as a self-starter has the motivation to succeed and the creative freedom to mould the role to their strengths.  The successful candidate will have experience in successful relationship fundraising and fundraising within a biblical context. 

As a Christian, you will have a passion to see lives transformed by the Gospel, and love to share stories with our supporters and potential supporters about the impact of our work to then be able to ask them to give to Church Army.
£30,062 per annum 
Hours     37.5 hours per week
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday with some evening and weekend work required on occasion.
Pension Church Army is an auto enrolment employer. If you are eligible for pension contributions, you will be enrolled in to a qualifying scheme and minimum pension contributions will be made by the employer.
Annual Leave 25 days plus public bank holidays, pro-rata.
Contract Full Time, Open-Ended 
Occupational Requirement
Due to the responsibilities of the role there is an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 that the post holder has an active faith in Jesus, demonstrated by an involvement in a local church and agreement with the vision and values of Church Army.
