The Marylebone Project is one of the largest women’s hostels in the UK for women affected by homelessness. Those we support are often affected by substance misuse, unemployment, domestic violence and mental health issues. Whatever their story, we aim for the same ending; self-esteem, employment and independent living. We do this by providing shelter, education opportunities, spiritual space and events in a welcoming and secure environment.

We are looking for a fantastic leader to join our team and oversee our rough sleeper drop-in, activities and EET programmes here at the Project. You will be someone who is experienced in delivering great services for vulnerable people, and work in a dynamic, positive and creative way to achieve the best outcomes for service users and staff alike. Ideally, you will have experience of working within a Psychologically Informed Environment, modelling and implementing best practice to others. You will participate in the overall responsibilities of the Project.
 
Salary £30,704 per annum
 
Contract
 
Full Time, Open-Ended
Hours 40 hours a week normally working 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday with a 30 minute unpaid break.
Flexibility is required due to the nature of the role. 

You will be added to the management on-call rota.
 
Pension The employee will be enrolled into a pension scheme providing the post holder meets the criteria for eligibility. Minimum contributions will be made by Church Army.
 
Annual Leave 33 days per annum, inclusive of bank holidays. As the Project is 24/7, this role will require some evening, weekend and bank holiday working, as per service need.
 
DBS Requirement
 
This post is subject to an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and compliant with safeguarding policies and procedures. Safeguarding training will be required. 
Occupational Requirement
 
Due to the responsibilities of the role there is an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 that the post holder is female.

3 months (after completion of probation)
