Details
We are looking for someone who is:
confident and responsible with excellent interpersonal skills
experienced in all aspects of service delivery to clients
approachable and professional with excellent customer service skills
Due to high demand and business growth, we are looking to recruit an Events Adviser to work within our conference team to provide guests with an exceptional service - from initial meeting to delivery of events. We seek to deliver the highest possible standard of hospitality whether it is for a group of 3 or a group of 150. You will join a large team of 18+ staff who help to cover the centre on a 24/7 basis.
This role will require someone who is a strong team player, able to work flexibly and be committed to getting the best for the team. The successful candidate will have had experience in both reactive and proactive areas of hospitality and will be able to have complete input in all events, as well as occasionally contributing in an operations setting. You will be expected to be able to handover to the coordinator to deliver a successful event.
Salary
£20,212 per annum

Open-ended
Hours
37.5 hours per week (full-time)
Across Monday to Sunday as and when dictated by the needs of the business, including evening and weekend work. You would be expected to work 5 out of 7 days, which would be agreed in advance via the team rota.
Pension
Church Army is an auto enrolment employer. If you are eligible for pension contributions, you will be enrolled into a qualifying scheme and minimum pension contributions will be made by the employer.
Annual Leave
25 days per year plus bank holidays (33 days in total).
DBS Requirement
The role is not eligible for a DBS check, however all staff are expected to comply with our Safer Ministry Policy.
