The Marylebone Project is one of the largest women’s hostels in the UK for women affected by homelessness. Those we support are often affected by substance misuse, unemployment, domestic violence and mental health issues. Whatever their story, we aim for the same ending; self-esteem, employment and independent living. We do this by providing shelter, education opportunities, spiritual space and events in a welcoming and secure environment.

The successful candidate will:
  • Provide leadership to administration, finance, reception and housekeeping teams
  • Inspire people and get the best out of people
  • Participate in the overall development of the Project in line with organisational functions
  • Be a strong team player who can encourage ways in which the services and operations functions work well collaboratively together
  • Be passionate about wanting to make a difference in transforming lives
  • Have a strong commitment to working with people
  • Be an active and participatory member of the Marylebone Project and Church Army 

Under the Equality Act Schedule 9 Part 1, there is an occupational requirement that the post holder is female. This is due to the context of the homeless project and the responsibilities of the role.
Salary £32,890 to £35,700 per annum depending on experience
Full Time and Open-ended
Hours 40 hours per week (full-time)
Pension Church Army is an auto enrolment employer. If you are eligible for pension contributions, you will be enrolled into a qualifying scheme and minimum pension contributions will be made by the employer. 
Annual Leave 25 days per year plus bank holidays (33 days in total). 
DBS Requirement The role is eligible for a DBS check
